Always load your infantry into the Command APC to make sure they move to objectives as quickly as possible.

Scout the terrain around your objectives before you move a single unit. Knowing where you have to go and how to get there most effectively is half the battle.

Set waypoints around potentially troublesome obstacles to avoid getting units hung up on impassable terrain.

Use your aircraft wisely, as they're the only unit types that can't be recharged. On a related topic, recharge your units with your APC as much as possible.
