  • BJ5 Extra Mode

Beat Hard Mode without losing one life to unlock extra mode, a difficulty one step higher than hard mode.

  • Control loading screen

Tap B repeatedly during the loading screen to make the star surrounding Travis' head to spin faster. The faster you tap, the faster it spins.

  • Dark step attack

Block an attack and quickly press Analog-stick Left or Right. Travis side step and slow down time allowing you to get some free hits.

  • Death Match mode

Successfully complete the game. This option will be unlocked at the main menu.

  • Easy money

Play Job 7, "Getting Trashed". Collect all the trash on stages 3 and 4 and return it to the ship, except for one piece. Leave the last piece just outside the shuttle bay doors. Intentionally die crashing into the planet or suffocating. When the game resumes, pull in the last piece of trash to get an easy time bonus. You can earn over 20,000 in stage 3 and almost 100,000 in stage 4.

  • Memory of Demon ability

Get Jeanethe cat's weight to less than 11 pounds by playing mini-games to unlock the Memory Of Demon ability from the original No More Heroes. To execute the move, shake the Nunchuk to do a damaging slash attack. Note: This uses more beam katana energy than normal.

  • New Game+

Beat the game and save your data. When you start No More Heroes 2 again you will be brought to the intro fight where you have all your old equipment and items from the previous game.

  • No More Heroes Masks

If you have a save file from the first game any of the masks you got will be displayed on the walls of your room.

  • Parry

Press Z immediately before getting hit. This can also prevent damage from unblockable attacks. You can also attack immediately after parrying to do an instant charge attack.

  • Prequel bonus

Have a saved game file from the original No More Heroes to unlock any of the masks previously obtained on the walls of your room.

  • Save Yourself from Death

When you run out of health, you can keep Travis from dying by shaking the Wii remote and nunchuck repeatedly as he begins to fall over. If you do it correctly, Travis will not die, and comes back with a small amount of health. This can be done up to five times before Travis finally dies. Note that this will not work if you run out of health while already laying on the ground.

  • Step-In Slice attack

Have Jeane become less than 11 lbs.

  • Stronger death blow

Swing the Wiimote in the same direction again after following the arrow prompt for a death blow to make the attack stronger.
