Match four pieces to create a special ingredient that removes pieces in a cross shape. Matching five pieces in an "L" or "T" shape to create a special ingredient that can remove nine pieces. Matching five pieces in a straight line to create a rainbow ingredient that can remove any color. Combine any of those special ingredients together to amplify their effects. The power-up that gives two extra moves is useful and cheap. Save one for when you need just a bit more help to finish a level. When you are out of energy, you usually have to wait until you can play again. To restore your energy instantly, advance the time on your device. Afterwards, set the time back to its correct value. Upgrade each food item scores one time before upgrading an item two or three times. You will obtain medals that can be used to upgrade your scores after completing a level with a 3-star rank.
