Search for poorly defended bases and take advantage of their weaknesses. When you take down a building, it will be replaced with a flag and you can place your troops there. It is also possible to get past the defensive troops when they are not in the area of effect of the targeted building. Only attack Strongholds that have a decent amount of resources. If your Stronghold gets destroyed, all other resources are lost. Because troops follow roads to attack, you can make the route to your Stronghold long and difficult. You can place an unlimited number of roads. However, you must remove snow blocks to access them, which can become costly. Make sure that none of the four entry points to your baseleads directly to your Stronghold. Place twists, turns, and other buildings in the way of enemy troops. Keep your Stronghold within range of your defensive buildings. You may also consider keeping certain portions of the roads protected and ignore the Stronghold. Although they do not do a lot of damage, Workers can also defend and slow down an enemy. Work towards creating one long spiraling road. Enemy troops will have a longer distance to travel and get past many obstacles. Try to place defensive towers where they are not in direct range of enemy troops, but can still target them. Keep trained troops in your base to participate in defense battles. Occasionally treasure boxes that contain gems will appear around your fort. Collect gems to purchase a third worker before anything else. Gems are also rewarded for completing various missions.
