Upgrade your berry bowl and shell bowl to ensure that you will never runs out of berries. Berries are your energy and let you do various actions, such as removing grass and other obstacles. Every obstacle that is cut down will give you shells. When reaching your shell limit, return home and spend them on building or upgrading more homes for your herd.

Play the Scrat-Alanche mini-game. There will be lots of berries that you can collect. Make sure you have enough room to collect at least 150 berries before starting the mini-game so you do not waste any.

Tap on an empty snow angel spot (resembles a light blue bird) to display the decorations list. Each decoration has a berry icon and a percentage. If it has an up arrow on it, that decoration will increase your maximum berry capacity by the listed amount. If it has two arrows pointing to the right, it will speed up berry production. Spend shells to purchase the decorations that are best suited to increase your berries.

Tap on an animal home to check how many berries they make in an hour, and what their maximum limit is. When you upgrade their homes and rescue more animals, berry production and the capacity increases. If you spend shells to feed the animals in a home, their berry production speed increases.
