Dodge enemy attacks and destroy them when encountered instead of immediately attacking them. The helicopters are quick and nimble and can avoid enemy fire well. After upgrading your fire power, dodging will not be as important of a strategy. Stay focused on the area surrounding your helicopter and do not worry too much about what is happening far ahead. Doing this will help you avoid attacks. Your helicopter will fire at enemies automatically, thus giving you a clue was to where to focus. Swipe to guide your helicopter instead of tapping to have more control. You will be given the opportunity to spend coins to purchase upgrades before each level starts. They are helpful when you are heavily outnumbered. Time their use well so that they are most effective when deployed. Use the ship to upgrade your weapons. You can upgrade both missiles and guns up to three times with each vehicle you obtain. Upgrade your guns first, as a faster firing rate is helpful. If you have the money, spend some into missiles for secondary firepower. Then, use your weapons upgrades to make saving coins easier for better helicopters. Newer helicopters have better firepower and can last longer due to their improved armor. Keep on the move and avoiding enemy fire. Keep in mind you need to get the bad guys in your sights otherwise you won't shoot anything. Always kill the ones who are firing the most rounds, or the most damaging rounds first. Don't fly over the mines even that way they'll take a chunk of damage. Save enough to get a new helicopter, because you can't upgrade your existing one’s armor. Keep your cash to buy the new weapons it's far better than upgrading.
