 In the dance class itself, the main method of play will be to copy the dance routines that the teacher teaches you. They'll be easy to do early on, but they will get tougher and tougher as the game progresses, so you're going to have to pay very close attention, even if that means screen-shotting the routine and having it open somewhere else I.E. on the phone that you are not playing with. Memorize the routines perfectly to get the three-star rating and earn high grades. When it comes to fashion, you're graded after a performance on your look. Even if you're not that good at putting together an outfit, you'll know if your look is good or not by looking at your dancer's reaction to an outfit. If she smiles and claps, that means she loves the look. If she looks irritated with it, don't use it; she knows what's stylish, and if she doesn't like it, neither will the judges. To get the best scores possible on your own dance routines, mix up your moves. Use moves from multiple sets, rather than moves from just one set, and don't re-use a routine from a previous performance. Come up with a new routine every time. Pay attention to your grades, as well; they're more important than what Madam Truffaut says. Hit the planner (the icon at the lower-left corner) to see various missions and quests. You can complete these to progress in the game, or you can go a bit rogue and complete activities on your own if you know that they are going to progress you along (such as going to the gym). Log into the game every day so that you can get your free rewards. Finish the semester ranked in the top ten in the school nad you can get free pink tickets, as well. Additionally, hit the customization area and you can find a whole bunch of free clothing choices. Many of them are ad-supported (you'll see a play button next to them if they are) so even though you'll watch a lot of ads, you will also earn a lot of clothes. More Cheats, Achievements
