When a level that has a lot of logs or twigs, start by removing them to be able to fill it and access all possible pieces. Some obstacles require more than one match to break (snow, ooze tiles, crates, etc.). You can use bombs to remove those types of obstacles instantly. The large black bombs will only blow up if you use a Fiends Bomb ability near them. Blowing it up will destroy every tile. You are allowed to keep all items collected during a level, win or lose. If there is no way for you to win, use all remaining moves to collect as many items as possible. Choosing Fiends with the Bomb ability is often helpful. Bomb Fiends have higher attack levels and the bombs can help complete tasks such as collecting diamonds and opening crates. Bomb abilities can be used from any part of a chain. When you detonate a bomb tile, the final tile in the chain will be where the bomb is detonated. This allows you to control where a bomb explodes by making your chain longer or shorter. The areas that will be detonated by the bomb will be surrounded with dotted white circles. This also results in different amounts of damage because the bomb can destroy different tiles depending on its location. Select Fiends with the Converter ability only if you require over 50 colored tiles. Converters change tiles to their color permanently. Tap on a Converter to view which adjacent tiles will be changed to its color. If there is wall is in the way or you choose to not collect every converted tile, they will remain changed after the Converter is gone. Be careful when using Converters because it can result in breaking chains of other nearby colors.
