In level six, you'll face the giant spider, Gohma. Before you enter the boss chamber, have your bow and arrows equipped. Immediately upon entering the room, fire an arrow. The boss will be positioned directly ahead, and the arrow will pierce its eye for an instant kill. When you get to the part of forest where you get trapt go north, west, south, west. This will take you to the mountain by the graveyard. Beat L-3. Then go to the top of the waterfall to find an old man with the mastersword. This sword kills enimies with one less hit. Beat L-6 then go to the top right corner of the graveyard and then push the third tomestone in the second row to find a staircase. Enter to find a man with the LENGENDARY SWORD. This sword will take 2less hits than the first sword and 1 less hit than your second sword. Save Anywhere Without Dieing
To get to the Save Menu without dieing, go into the subscreen by pressing start and press Up and the Select button simultaneously. The options will be Continue, Save, and Retry. If you use this on the overworld, continue starts you at the area you begin the game at. In the underworld, it puts you at the start of the labyrinth you were in. Save obviously saves your game and puts you at the Save Game Select menu. Retry takes you to the Save Game Select menu and doesn't save your game. To start a game at the second quest (after you've beaten it once), enter your name as "ZELDA".
