Each level is an isometric grid on which you can move up, down, left, or right. When you jump into a square with a fully-grown vegetable, Ben will put it on his head. After three or more vegetables are matched, they will disappear, you will get points, and the sprouts will grow. Sprouts will be fully-grown after three matches. Ben can only stack seven vegetables on his head, unless a power-up is used to permanently increase the limit. If that limit is broken, the vegetables will fall off Ben's head and you will lose moves. Max the dog. If you do not collect the required vegetables in a level within a certain amount of matches, Max the dog will wake up and chase Ben. Some levels pit you in a battle with Max, where Ben must collect all the listed vegetables while avoiding the dog.
