When exclamation marks appear, be ready for dangers such worms. Stay away from them, but also avoid hitting obstacles such as fire pillars or rocks. At times it may be more valuable strategically to ignore some of the gold. Instead, remain alive and do not lose a cart. The best place to collect more gold are the rail areas. You cannot stay in the lava too long or you will lose a life. Move your cart fast by rapidly swiping your finger, while remaining precise. The Mother Worm is the large worm that bites you from behind. When it appears, avoid it by making sure you move from arrow to arrow. You will get a speed boost and get away. Always try to collect the floating star. Its tail will appear a few seconds before the rest of it. Each star gives you two more seconds in the mini-game, resulting in more gold. The glowing shooting power-up gives you a cannon briefly, which can be used to shoot down pillars, worms, and other dangers. Remember to shoot the source of fire and not the fire itself in order to destroy them. Avoid spending too much money on Utilities, as their boosts are temporary. However you can use items such as the Magnet or Head Start Bonus specifically to complete missions. Save up for Bambi, the girl gives you an extra life. The best places to grab serious chunks of change are at the beginning of the "burrowing" sections of the game. Here you'll find pictograms built out of coins - steer your ship in very wide left and right bursts to grab as many of these free coins as possible. Complete the missions to get bonus gold at the end of your run. It always helps to swerve in on an angle to catch different coins. When on the rail tracks and picking up coins - when you see that the track is about to end or there is a triangle sign with a '!' you must slide over to a track that has more rails. The purple object that floats around will help you shoot all objects in front of you except for massive boulders. After each run, you’ll be given an opportunity to chip away at a big gold mountain. Use as many fingers as possible and tap as fast as you can. When you have reached a point that all your links to your drill have been caught off and you've basically lost your last one - a bright, gold circle will appear immediately. Keep in mind it disappears quickly. When you’re being chased by that enormous worm that suddenly appears-out of nowhere-at the top of your screen, it’s important that you collect as many of those downward pointing arrows.
