Custom color shop

Sometime after you deliver the Hydra Head to Gran Soren, a pawn dressed like a monk will show up in the tent where you obtained your first pawn at the encampment next to Cassardis. He sells custom hair, brows, eyes, and skin colors, as well as other items for Rift Crystals.

Easy gold

Hire some pawns in the Rift that can carry a lot of weight. Then, go to Cassardis' Inn, and unequip all possible equipment. Clear out your inventory by putting everything in storage, then exit the inn. Go straight until you reach Iola's vegetable shop, which should be located on your left. Purchase as many carrots as you and your pawns can carry, then return to the inn, and sleep for three days (it is recommended you do this in offline mode so you do not have to wait through server dialogue). When you finish resting for the third day, check your carrots, and they should be molded. Go to Iola's shop, and when she arrives (look for her to come from the direction of the beach), sell her all of the carrots that molded to make a good profit each time. Repeat this as many times as desired. Note: If you carry the carrots for more than three days, they will rot and not be worth much gold. Additionally, this glitch was done on an unpatched version of the game.

Easy healing

When you reach Gran Soren, purchase 100 empty flasks. Then, go north from Grab Soren, and look for a glowing rock pillar. It is a wellspring, and the water has healing properties. Fill your flasks with the water from the spring, and give them to your team. These potions will restore more health than any remedy or herb in the game and are easy to refill when you are running low.

Easy loot

Late in the game, go to the Chamber Of Fate (located on the western side of the Everfall), and enter the first chamber. Proceed forward through the chamber until you cause monsters to spawn ahead of you. Then, turn around, and loot the two chests that were positioned behind you as you entered the chamber. Run back out the door without engaging the monsters. You can then turn around and go back into the cave, where the chests and monsters will spawn again. Repeat this process as many times as desired.

Easy rare items

Level your main character as a Strider until you get the "Master Thief" ability. Then, walk the road north of Gran Soren just past the bridge until you find a random pawn. Use the "Master Thief" ability on him or her. You will steal two items from them. Occasionally these will be rare items, such as the Veterans Peridot. Run away from that pawn just enough so they vanish from sight. Run back to them, and you will be able to steal from them again. Repeat this process as many times as desired. Note: This is also a good way to steal quest items, such as the Sour Ambrosial Meat.

Exploiting an infinite amount of enemies (late in game)

After soldiers in the Duke's Demense become hostile they will infinitely spawn and give you a hard time until you leave the city and enter again. Take advantage of the infinite supply of enemies to kill and equip your character with ranged attacks (either a bow, longbow, or projectile or aimable magic spells). Enter the demense and head immediately for the church. Climb up the 8 foot walls surrounding the church. Once you make it up their the enemy AI behavior changes and they stop attacking your pawns and all the soldiers will stay fixated on you and just stand there (not smart enough to climb up after you). Pick them off from your perch and farm experience, or the enlistment corps banners they drop (which can be used to 3-star upgrade the DLC female captain's armor), or use them to meet the hidden kill requirements for each vocation rank up as well as farm discipline points for your vocation.

You can still fight them in a melee face to face but it's much more difficult as the soldiers are adept at blocking melee attacks and throwing you off balance.

How to defeat the troll in the ever fall quickly

When you first see the troll in the ever fall get on the edge of the slope/stairs and wait for it to charge you . When it does quickly get out of the way . You won't get the items but you get the XP.

Instantly send extra items to your bank

If you become overburdened, you can send items instantly back to your bank without needing an innkeeper or traveler camp. Just give one of your support pawns any items you want to send away and then dismiss the pawn. You can send as much as they can carry and keep yourself from being overencumbered and slowed down in a dangerous place.

Profit From Carrots

At your home town one of the merchants sells carrots for about 70 gold. Buy as many as you can carry but be sure to keep at least 200g (just to be safe). Stay at the inn for three days, then after that your carrots should have become moldy carrots and sell for almost 4x the price you paid for them.

Note; In the latest patch of the game, the developers have fixed this a little so that you can't carry a significant amount of carrots at one time. It's still a valid cheat, but it takes a while longer now that your supply has been reduced. There is now a set limit of 99.

Regain lost key quest items

If you accidentally sell or lose a quest item you can get it back by having another player gift the lost item to your pawn, or check out the Black Cat merchant in Gran Soren, who 'acquires' lost items of this type and sells them back to you for a price.

If you're low on funds, check out the other listed carrot exploit to gain easy cash to make any large purchases.

Sunbright and Moonglow flowers

One of the first quests in the game requires you gather 5 sunbright flowers, and then a moonglow flower. The location of these isn't given to you on the map like some of the later missions will aid you with. Some people would rather not endure fetch missions so early in the game and would rather get on with the story, which i'll say is something already slow to pick up on in Dragon's Dogma. To aid in your questing you can find a few sunbright flowers just outside of Cassardis and to your left. There's a tree where a few goblins are stationed at. Take out the pests and collect the flowers from around the base of the tree. Rest at the inn for a few days so the flowers respawn and collect the rest.

As for the moonglow flower, when you exit Cassardis head straight to your right during nighttime hours (rest at the in until nightfall). Stay along the cliffs edge up until you stand over the water's edge. Look under you to the rock platforms below for a glowing object. Head down and grab the moonglow flower and turn in the last ingredient for the quest.
