Level up your dragon until it can be used as a mount. By gaining experience points you will also unlock the Broadwing and Shortwing abilities to shoot fireballs and perform other flying techniques.
Hatch multiple dragons as you progress through the game. You can also catch dragons or get them for free when on sale. Having several dragons in your lineup allows you to use a substitute when one runs out of energy.
Food
Fish and farming regularly. This is your primary source of food to keep your dragon happy and healthy.
Gems
Add friends to play the game to earn fifty free gems from each of them.
Do not use gems to replenish your energy unless absolutely necessary. Instead, save your gems for spending on premium and permanent advantages.
