At the begining of every fight use the battery icon to charge up your multiplier. Although this will use up a turn it is worth doing as the extra power could prove to be the decisive factor in the outcome of the battle.
Enemy Health
If during battle you want to see how much health an enemy has remaining you can tap them or their status bar to find out.
