Do not waste in-game help on items you cannot find. Take a screenshot, close the app, then open the picture and find the items at your convenience. By doing this you can get the maximum amount of stars without replaying levels.
Using hints
Hint refills are expensive. Only use them when you must find a large number of objects with a small time limit.
