Maximum Powerup

At the stage number screen during normal gameplay, press Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Down, Up, Down, B, Left, B, Right, B, Up, B, Down, then A or Start. This activates an internal counter in the game, which counts the number of bombs placed on the stage. When it reaches a predefined value as below, you'll hear a sound and a flower power-up will appear. Obtain it to maximize your bomb count and explosion range, and to get the manual-control primer. Note that this code will only work on the first four stages of each world while your bomb count and range are less than 3. This also only lasts for the given level.
