Acceleration
Do not hold the accelerator down all the time. Watch the minimap for upcoming turns, as well as turn signals. Release the accelerator as needed to make safe turns.Brake assist
You can turn on brake assist from the "Drive Assists" section in the "Options" menu. When active, the brakes will automatically activate if you take a turn too quickly. However, you may be able to get faster times by using manual braking.Traffic
During championship races, watch out for the other racers on the track. If you run into them at high speed, you may wipe out, costing time.
