Flips
Front flips and back flips require some time to complete. Do not start either of them unless you have a ramp to catch a lot of air.Manuals
After unlocking the manual, you will be able to build combos easily. Use it to chain ollies, grinds, and tricks in the air together. To perform a manual, swipe to the right or left and hold that position. Your skater will begin to manual in the swiped direction. You will gain points for the duration of the manual, and you can continue your combo with it. For example, when coming out of an air trick, swipe and hold before you land and to start a manual to multiply your current combo score. However, you will not gain those points until you land safely in a neutral position, outside of a manual.Maximum Ollie height
Tap and hold for 1.5 seconds to get maximum height for ollie jumps. You will know that you are fully charged by looking at your skater's hands. You can release when they are clawed and pointing down.Spins
The spin is an advance trick that you will eventually unlock. It is performed by tapping a button at the lower left corner. Do not land a spin while sideways. Also, at times adding a spin to an air combo will break a manual chain.Upgrades
Purchase the Ollie and Trick improvements first. The Ollie upgrade increases how high you can jump with one. The Trick upgrade speeds up the animation of your tricks, allowing you to execute more of them while in the air.Various General Tips
Spins can add a great bonus to your combo list, but you need to do them perfectly. If you mess up, you break your combo and all of that effort goes to waste. Take your time and practice the spins. You need to make sure you’re not sideways when landing from a spin. Always try to get your character to the maximum height, so you can create a longer combo. You can easily tell if the character has reached the maximum height by observing his hands. Usually it happens when you hold the button for 1.5 seconds. If you need more points, it’s always better to make smaller, more reliable combos than go for the longer ones and risk losing it all via an imperfect landing. At the start, you should focus on completing all of the game’s goals. This will help you unlock more tricks, which you can then use to get more points. Use manual to prolong the combos and get more points. You only get them later on in the game, so you will need to make some progress first. Do flips only if you have enough air time. Ramps are great for performing these. Upgrading Ollie lets you do higher jumps, which means more air time and, therefore, doing more tricks.
