"Predator" mission: See Bigfoot

During the mission you end up in a helicopter chasing two targets through the Cassidy Creek forest. You will have a rifle equipped with a thermal scope. Aim down and to the right and search for a larger than human thermal signature, which will almost immediately disappear. You can turn off the scope to get a blurrier real view of it.

"The Last One" mission

Get a 100% game completion to unlock "The Last One" mission for Franklin at the indicated location at Mt. Chiliad. Note: The hunter in this mission is a reference to the hunter in the "Birth of the Conservation Movement" mission in Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare in which he John Marston kill the last Bigfoot.

Alien in ice

During the introduction mission in North Yankton, while driving from the police instead of following the destination marker, drive to the right of the bridge down to the frozen river. Exit your vehicle and look down to see a frozen alien in the ice.

All weapon upgrades free

While a mission is active, go to the gun shop, and buy all of the upgrades for every available weapon and some grenade. Once you have obtained all of the upgrades, leave the gun shop, and use one of the grenades to kill yourself. This will cause the mission to fail, and you will start the mission over. When the mission restarts, you will have all of your money back from the purchases in the gun shop. Go back to the gun store, and all the weapon upgrades will still have a checkmark. Repeat this process when new weapons become available.

Alternate costumes

Complete the final mission in the main storyline to unlock mission-specific costumes for all three characters, which include the black outfits from stealth missions, the guard uniforms from the final mission, and the police uniforms. To unlock all shirts, get a 100% game completion.

Ammu-Nation Discount

If players complete all Gun Range challenges, they will receive a 25% discount at all Ammu-Nation stores.

Armored Vehicles Mean Easy Money

In the beginning hours of the game, one of the easiest ways to make money is to rob an armored vehicle. They appear as blips on the minimap while you are driving around. Take out the drivers, then shoot the back doors in the center by the handles to have it open. Collect the money, which is often worth over $5000, then escape the cops.

Black cellphone theme

Dial 1-999-396-3767 on your cellphone to cause a high altitude explosion and turn the phone's theme black. Note: This can only be done in single player mode.

Bonus haircuts

Go to the Herr Kutz Barber page (http://www.lifeinvader.com/profile/herr_kutz) on Rockstar's Lifeinvader site and sign in with your Social Club username and password. Click the "Stalk" button to unlock new haircuts for Michael, Franklin, and Trevor.

Buy properties for free (Pre-Patch)

Note: You need to have enough money to purchase the property regularly. Go up to a the sign that allows you to purchase a property. Press right on the D-Pad and that will take you to the confirm purchase prompt. Press right on the D-Pad again to confirm your purchase and immediately after doing so, pause the game. Now replay any mission in the replay mission menu (preferably a short one) and finish the mission. When the game loads you back in the overworld, the property you purchased should be owned by you but you will still have all of your money.

Cheat Codes

Enter one of the following codes while playing the game to activate the corresponding cheat function. If you entered a code correctly, a small confirmation will appear above the map. Note: GTA 5 cheats cannot be saved, and must be entered manually each time. Cheats also disable trophies from being earned for the current game session. Thus, quick save your game before using cheat codes.

Lower wanted level
While playing the game, quickly press R1(2), Circle, R2, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left.

Raise wanted level
While playing the game, quickly press R1(2), Circle, R2, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right.

Recharge ability
While playing the game, quickly press X(2), Square, R1, L1, X, Right, Left, X.

Faster run
While playing the game, quickly press Triangle, Left, Right(2), L2, L1, Square.

Explosive ammo rounds

Spawn Buzzard aircraft
While playing the game, quickly press Circle(2), L1, Circle(3), L1, L2, R1, Triangle, Circle, Triangle. The Buzzard is a helicopter with missiles and guns. It must be spawned in a large enough area for it to appear, or it will not spawn.

Extra Customization

To get more character customizations, go onto the Lifeinvader social network. If you log in and begin "Stalking" people, you will begin unlocking new character customizations. To get new hair styles for instance, stalk Herr Kurtz Barber.

Fallout: New Vegas Reference

Near the north side of the map, you'll find a diner called Up-n-Atom that has a statue of a rocket positioned next to it. The color scheme resembles the one used for the Rocket Souvenir item in Fall Out: New Vegas. If you get near the rocket, you'll hear the sound of radiation, like you'd get from a reader in the Fallout series.

Familiar Character References

If you're paying attention, you can find references in the game to characters that should be familiar if you played past GTA titles.

Brucie Kibbutz returns on Bleeper, GTA’s equivalent to Twitter.

Niko Bellic’s old friend Packie McReary returns. Franklin can help him during a heist, and he’ll be part of your crew for the rest of the game.

Niko Bellic is mentioned during the first heist, described as an 'Eastern-European' that was making a name for himself back in Liberty City and got out of the business.

Free Weapon Upgrades

During a mission, visit an Ammu-Nation and purchase a weapon and all upgrades. Kill yourself after and the mission will fail. This will give you all your money back, however if you visit the Ammu-Nation again, the upgrades on the weapon will still be marked as purchased.

Getting Trevor a shaved head (bald) haircut

Go to the Bob Mulét hair salon in Rockford Hills and choose the "Clean Razor" option. This is the only barber shop that allows all of his hair to be removed.

Ghost

When you visit the top of Mt. Gordo between 11:00 pm and midnight, you can see the ghostly form of a woman.

Hippy Jesus

Talk to "Jesse", a pedestrian standing near a lamppost on the Del Perro beach boardwalk. His dialog makes it clear that he is a stoned version of Jesus.

HVY Dump Industrial truck

The largest road vehicle, the HVY Dump Industrial can be stolen from the Davis Quartz quarry.

Infinite money

Go to the door of Ammunition. Aim the clerk and he will starting to shoot you. Be safe behind the corner and call cops. They will come and shoot this guy. Now go in the Ammunation and hit the cash register. It will open and money come out. Take the money and go out about twenty feet from the door. Then come back inside and check the cash register. There's money again. You can do the without limit and earn free cash.

Jump Locations

On your in-game browser, go to junkenergydrink.com/page5 to see the locations of all of the Stunt Jumps.

Minigun

You can find a minigun on the top floor of one of the buildings in Fort Zancudo at North Chumash.

Molotov cocktails

Go under the bridge at this location in North Chumash to find a cache of five Molotov cocktails.

Playboy mansion

One of the mansions in the Richman area is Los Santos' version of the Playboy mansion. It even includes the backyard grotto with pool and hot tubs. When visited at night, you may be able to crash a party in the back.

Pratfalling

To fall on your butt, press Square to jump, and while you are in mid-air, press Circle.

Quickly repair a vehicle without costing you anything

If your vehicle is pretty banged up and you don't want to have to pay to repair it, simply park your vehicle, get out of it, quick save from your phone, and reload that quick save. Your vehicle will be exactly where you left it, but will be in prime condition. Useful if you have an expensive and/or customized vehicle, because it can be expensive to repair.

Very Easy Money

In the ocean near the north side of the map, you can check underwater to find a crashed airplane. When the airplane crashed, a briefcase full of money (around $12,000) also found its way to the sea bed. You can swim to find the wreckage and the briefcase. After you collect that briefcase, you can then immediately switch to another character and then switch back to the one who was located near the briefcase. When you do, the briefcase will have reappeared. The character who is underwater will collect the case again and his supply of air will return. You can repeatedly use this trick to quickly amass a small fortune.

Vintage graphics filter

Note: This is only available if you are returning to the game on the PlayStation4 from the PlayStation3 version. Complete the main storyline. Find the four murder mystery clues written on various walls in Los Santos while playing as Michael. A sound will play after each clue is viewed. Take the submarine and swim out into the ocean with the scuba gear to find a drowned woman chained to concrete on the seabed. Go to Richard's Majestic film studio after nine p.m. and step into the yellow mission circle. Once in the office look at the letter on the desk. It will lead you to the mineshaft. Use a gun with a flashlight to navigate your way to the bottom of the mine to find Issac's corpse, which will be added to your contacts. Select that contact to apply a black and white noire filter to the graphics.
