1-turn triumphs

Defeat all the heartless in a battle without allowing them take a turn to earn a 1-turn triumph. This rewards you with bonus lux and special orbs, which usually results in a full special gauge. Use the correct type of medals, and decide the proper time to group attack and single attack, as well as using special abilities will make earning 1-turn triumphs easier. Group attacking will hit all heartless in the battle, but at reduced power. If you have the special gauge available, use your special abilities at the correct moment.

Avatar board

The avatar board features different kinds of clothing for your avatar. Each set has a board. Those boards have nodes that must be powered up using avatar coins. This will give you a permanent increase to your character's stats. You can also unlock new clothing parts. Completing as many avatar boards as possible.

Daily events

Go to the quests screen and look under the "Special" category to find dungeons that are only available during certain days.

Jewels

Jewels are the game's premium currency. There are a few ways to get them for free. Log in daily to earn 50 jewels the first two days, 100 jewels on the third and fourth day, and 200 jewels on the fifth day, at which point the reward will reset. Create or join a party to play with your friends. Joining your first party rewards you with 100 jewels. As the storyline progresses you will occasionally be rewarded a bonus chest that contains jewels. These chests are available every five new quests that are completed.

Keyblades

When choosing a quest, take note of the icons types found next to it. This icon corresponds to the most common type of enemy you will encounter in that quest. Use this knowledge to bring the correct medals as well as keyblades. For example, the top medal slot for the starting keyblade Starlight shines blue, which indicates that magic medals placed in that slot will gain a small boost. The next keyblade, Treasure Trove, has a power slot on the bottom. Match the keyblade with the appropriate medals.

Medals

Each medal has a type that is stronger against another specific type. Power is red and is strong against speed. Speed is green and is strong against magic. Magic is blue and is strong against power. Using the stronger type against a particular enemy to get a damage boost. Bring medals built around the type of heartless you will be fighting. Medals can be leveled by sacrificing other medals. Sacrificing the same type of medals will also result in earn extra experience for your base medal. If you can get Huey, Dewey, and Louie, level your favorite medals with them. They are worth a large amount of experience, and they are not actually usable in battle. Huey is power, Louie is speed, and Dewey is magic.

Objectives

Each quest has three objectives that can be completed. If you did not complete all of them, replay the quest. Completing the final objective will reward you with crafting materials. The first two objectives will give you avatar coins that are used to improve your character.

Resources

Explore the worlds and run over the sparkles that you discover to get crafting materials. Use them to power up your keyblades.

Spending jewels

The best use of jewels are for purchasing medals. There is an occasional temporary offer to use 600 jewels to get three medals, once per day. You can spend 3,000 jewels for ten medals. Although this is expensive, you are guaranteed at least one 5-star medal. You can spend 300 jewels to get one medal. However there is no guarantee of a better medal.
