Don't let bargains get away, pay attention to the big deals you are alerted to during the game as you may be able to tempt players to your club with a better offer.
Last Resort
Sometimes you can pull a game back in the late stages by throwing a striker or two onto the pitch and switching to an attacking formation. Doing this though raises the risk of conceding.
Plan B
Have a plan B because if things are not going well in the game you will need a fresh approach. Make sure the players know and are used to the new strategy.
Transfer Budget
Try to save some of your transfer budget because if a star player gets injured you'll need money for a replacement.
